2 Different Things

Knowing what to do and doing it are two different things. The amateurs out there know what to do but make excuses for not doing it. The high achievers know what to do and they do it! This is what separates exceptional from average.

To be exceptional, you know that:

  • you need to make more sales calls
  • you need to ask more questions
  • you need to create a great pitch
  • you need to rehearse your presentation
  • you need to ask more people to buy from you
  • you need to role play
  • you need to record yourself and listen/watch to improve yourself
  • you need to train for 30 minutes - 1 hour every day
  • you need to read more books
  • you need to write more blogs
  • you need to make more videos of yourself
  • you need to put the extra work in
  • you need to improve your skills
  • you need to know how to position yourself as the solution
  • you need to master following up

Everyone in sales “knows” they need to do all of these things but only the “obsessed with success” actually does them!

Average means that you know what to do but don’t do it; Exceptional means that you know what to do and you do it consistently whether you want to or not!
